Gran Hotel, Vigo: A Balance of Luxury and ValueSituated around one of Vigo’s central gardens, the Gran Hotel provides easy access to the old town and waterfront. The attentive staff were commendable, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable, featuring air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, elements that supported a restful stay. While we thoroughly enjoyed the rooftop pool and spa, it's important to note that access to the pool incurs an additional fee of €25 per hour. The spa services appeared appealing, although my stay did not allow time for sampling these amenities. The bar fridge priced reasonably further contributed to the overall experience. Dining outside the hotel is advisable, as the restaurant did not meet our expectations. The location near cafes, shops, and the ferry terminal offers a wealth of dining options to explore. The Gran Hotel strikes a balance between luxury and value, making it a wise choice for travelers considering an investment in comfort in picturesque Vigo.
